"We All Bleed Red" is a powerful piece of poetry that delves deep into the essence of our shared humanity, emphasizing the importance of embracing our similarities while accepting our differences. The poignant verses resonate with the understanding that, despite our varied backgrounds and experiences, we all share the same basic humanity—we all bleed red. This poem flows seamlessly to the captivating melody crafted by a random street performer I had the pleasure of meeting, which adds a unique layer to the message. The themes of the poem touch on pressing issues such as racism, as well as gay and transgender rights, urging listeners to reflect on the beauty of diversity within our communities. Inspired by this collaboration, I find myself wanting to remix and reinterpret the piece again and again, allowing it to evolve while spreading its vital message of unity and acceptance.
